The aquatic Lizard Slayer was designed by Cameron Winter and bestowed upon Hank. The green and white machine was launched alongside the other two machines to be tested. Firing at a host of unmanned tanks and launchers, the test run proved to be a success. Shortly thereafter, the real battle begun once Godzilla was located. The amphibious Lizard Slayer took to the sea, moving at speeds fast enough to nearly capsize the Heat Seeker. It engaged Godzilla, driving the nuclear reptile to the coastline where the other machines joined the battle.
Unfortunately for the three hunters, the United States army got involved. Under Cameron’s orders, they fired upon the attack helicopters that began firing on Godzilla. As things got complicated with the helicopters turning their guns on them, the Lizard Slayers were ordered to fall back and await further orders. During this time, the pilots questioned their allegiances after being told to fire upon American forces. However, once Cameron Winter was projected via a holographic display, they all continued with their mission.
Taking to the sea again, Hank refused to follow orders when Cameron ordered him to attack the Heat Seeker instead of Godzilla. When this happened, Cameron took remote control of the mech. On the ship, Randy and Monique prepared a trap and deployed an unmanned submersible with a torpedo attached to its haul. The Lizard Slayer 2 hit the trap and the explosive detonated, damaging the second machine beyond repair and allowing its pilot to be quickly apprehended. |
