When not busy with working for the United Godzilla Countermeasures Center (UNGCC) robotics section, an engineer by the name of Kazuma Aoki spent time during his off-hours constructing a small flying craft. As he was also a fan of the pteranodon, he designed the craft to resemble the flying dinosaur.

The craft was capable of holding two people in flight, folding wings, five rocket pods, a steering wheel and seating arrangement similar to that seen on motorcycles. The craft could fly as well as hover. Showing off his liking for the flying prehistoric dinosaur, Aoki had a decal on the rear section of the craft which that displayed the pteranodon and the words “Ptreranodon Forever”.

After completing the vehicle, Aoki took his friend and colleague Doctor Azusa Gojo on a demonstration ride of the craft. At first everything went smoothly until a small problem developed with the engines, which resulted in a crash. Fortunately, the robot made a safe landing and both passengers walked away unharmed.

Later, after helping to achieve what seemed to be the greatest victory in the war against Godzilla, Aoki took the repaired pteranodon robot out of Garuda and flew down to the ground to inquire about Gojo's status, as she had been in the middle of the crossfire during this particular battle of humanity versus Godzilla.
