The F-15J fighter jets were piloted by the
finest in the Japanese armed forces. With thousands
of hours under their belts, they set off to strike
the nuclear horror that had plagued their land
for decades, Godzilla. Never before had such grace
befell a maneuver when the jets fought back. Lowering
from the rolling clouds, the five planes attacked
from all sides, all hitting with their deadly
cargo at once in a cloud of hate. Then, like soaring
Robins in the noonday sun, they pulled up and
drove back into the cover of the sky pulling off
a maneuver that one would only expect to see in
the enclosed environment of an air show. But,
like so many others, the Sidewinders did little
to halt the monster.
