The Dimension Tide, an orbiting satellite that produced miniature black holes as ammunition, was drifting silently above the pleasant glow of the Earth's surface. As Godzilla swam through the seas hundreds of miles below, it was decided that the nearby island of Kiganjima would be a perfect location for the monster's extermination via the super-powerful weapon. The creature had to be led to the island, however, in order for the plan to go into effect...

Several F-15J fighter jets were dispatched in order to force Godzilla to surface from the ocean. The deadly aircraft fired at the nuclear menace, and the beast rose from the bubbling surf. The Griffon, another more advanced fighter, unleashed its photon cannon, as the F-15Js continued to fire on their quarry. Alas, Godzilla used his atomic breath and destroyed two of the soaring vehicles before they could cause him any more harm. The remaining F-15J was ordered to retreat as the Griffon continued to lead the unsuspecting monster to what was believed to be its ultimate doom...
