Essentially designed for cargo and troop transportation, the planes were called in for a much different purpose when the Japanese military was running low on resources. Quickly using all their available machines, the Self Defense Force transformed the munitions aircraft into an angel of death. Armed with thousands of pounds of bombs filled with napalm, the planes were one of the first lines of defense against the towering Godzilla. Dropping their payload, the C-46D Plane transformed the scaly giant and that land it walked into a burning cauldron of torment. Unfortunately, the attack, like so many others, barely affected the lumbering behemoth, although they accomplished their mission of directing the creature toward the nearby Artificial Lightning Generators.
