Godzilla meets a creature resembling him from space.

Tomoyuki Tanaka never liked the idea of Godzilla's career ending with Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975), and tried several times to resurrect the creatures career. In 1978 Tanaka was talking with Henry G. Saperstein of UPA over a possible coproduction for a Godzilla film. Several ideas were tossed around, such as Godzilla vs. The Devil, SpaceGodzilla, and Godzilla vs. The Gargantuas. Like Godzilla vs. The Devil, SpaceGodzilla never got very far beyond a idea and not much is known about the film. It is interesting to note though, that SpaceGodzilla, Frankenstein, and Megalon would be the only Kajiu to be first featured in a Lost Project and end up making it on the big screen down the road.
