One of the more common stage type, they appear on every world but Neptune, Sub-Space stages stand apart from other stages in that each variation is distinct, and entirely different from each other. The Dogora themed stage plays much like any other level, but the other variations house "mini-bosses" which could pose trouble for the player, depending on their level.

Variation 1:

The Dogora themed Sub-Space stage is the most common of the Sub-Space Stages, and for that reason its also the variation for which the player has the least to fear from.

Enemies: Dogora Cell (Purple); Dogora Cell (Red); Dogora Cells (Small); Orbs; Side Winder
Variation 2:

A very simple layout, this stage hosts one of the three variations of the Matango Hive, and nothing more. It should be noted, though, that the Matango Hive is cabale of releasing Matango or Inferno Crafts and can populate the stage with enemies that way.

Enemies: Matango Hive; Matango; Inferno Craft
Variation 3:

The rarest of the three variations, the layout is noticeably barren to make room for the giant Gohten, which hosts a wide array of weapons and can fire Inferno Crafts at the player as well.
