Volcano

These enemies appear in the Volcano stages found in the game, and tend to be diverse in attack pattern with a common theme of fire amongst them.

Kilaak Flying Saucer
These saucers will fly horizontally across the screen, firing volleys of projectiles at the Godzilla or Mothra as they pass. The Kilaak Flying Saucer's differs from a lot of other enemies found in the game, as they will change direction, mid-flight, from time to time.

Firestorm Phoenix*
Appearing first as a ball of fire, the Firestorm Phoenix will attack by unleashing several, curving, fireballs at the player. The Firestorm Phoenix isn't a mobile foe, and will hold its position, as it fires at its prey. The Firestorm Phoenix will often assault Godzilla or Mothra in groups.

Manda
A lot of artistic license was taken in this version of Manda, whose body emerges from molten rock as he spits, curving, fireballs at the player. The long whiskers, horns, fangs, and serpent like body are the only reminiscent things of the Mu revered kaiju. Manda shouldn't cause the player a lot of trouble, as he is slow in unleashing his projectiles and can easily be defeated from close range or at a distance.

Orbs*
One of the few enemies to appear in more than one stage, the Orbs will move in a circular pattern, horizontally, across the screen, and will damage the player if they happen to come in contact with them.

Flame Shurikens*
The Flame Shurikens will glide across the screen, before splitting into a larger group in order to attack the player. The Flame Shurikens won't fire any projectiles at the Mothra or Godzilla, but will attempt to collide into the player in order to inflict damage.

Volcanoes
Elusive in appearance, the volcanoes will belch shards of molten rock in the air when the player approaches, which will then filter down from the sky to strike the player if they should come in contact. What makes the Volcanoes a dangerous foe is that they are easily hidden amongst the background of the Volcano stage. Only the lava spouting out of the top is the give away. It should be mentioned that Mothra can ignore these foes altogether, if she chooses, as she can hover under the volcanoes.

Shifting Earth*
Uneven segments of molten rock, the Shifting Earth are easily taken out if the player takes their time and attacks them from a distance. The Shifting Earth has a very simple attack plan, in which it moves vertically to attack the player. A important thing to note: Mothra should destroy these if possible, and not try to avoid them, as if she is struck by a airborne attack and falls onto a Shifting Earth, located at the edge of the screen, it will mean instant death for her.
