Mechagodzilla

While Mechagodzilla doesn't have one move that makes him particularly deadly, he is highly versatile. Mechagodzilla has two melee moves, a punch and kick, along with one projectile, a Space Beam. Like Gigan, the Space Beam has two variations: a orange vs. Godzilla and a red vs. Mothra, however, the beams are identical beyond color. What makes Mechagodzilla a worthy adversary is his ability to chain attacks, firing his Space Beam while simultaneously punching the opponent for example. Mechagodzilla is also deceivingly quick, and is able to quickly move about the screen, jumping to keep his opponent off guard. Mechagodzilla also has a tremendous amount of life, second only to King Ghidorah. Mechagodzilla's weakness lies in his tendency to reel back when struck by the opponent; however, he is able to counter this setback with his ability to fire his Space Beam even while reeling back. Mothra has a huge advantage over Mechagodzilla, if she lines her body up with Mechagodzilla's neck she should be able to lay waste to the mechanical behemoth with her Eye Beams as Mechagodzilla will fire his Space Beam over Mothra, and will reel himself back up against the corner for Mothra to pound at her leisure; as long as Mothra keeps a healthy distance away from Mechagodzilla, continues to hit him with Eye Beams, and stays lined up with his neck she should remain unharmed.
