Gigan

Gigan has the potential to be impossible to defeat, if he so chooses. Gigan has two standard melee attacks, a claw and kick, which shouldn't cause any trouble. Gigan also has a projectile attack, his Eye Beam, that like other bosses has two variations, orange vs. Godzilla and red vs. Mothra, and like other bosses the difference between the two only lies in their appearance. Gigan's most dangerous move, and arguably the most dangerous move in the game, is his Rotary Cutter. Gigan has been known to trap his foes in the corner of the screen and let loose with a Rotary Cutter until he has cleaved off around half of their total life; depending on the current situation this can mean instant death sometimes, or he can simply back off and use the Rotary Cutter again to finish the job. Because of his Rotary Cutter, players should try and destroy Gigan as quickly as possible as to reduce the probability of him using it. Gigan, however, does have one weakness: when his life is down to three or less blocks he will be stunned momentarily when taking heavy damage.
