The second "Double Feature" Toho disc from Tristar. This film is advertised as being presented in its "original aspect ratio" of 1.85:1. This however is far from the case, as the film has been cropped on both sides, and the top. This is painfully obvious during the title sequence in Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla as the Japanese text travels off the screen in every direction but down... The actual quality of the video is much better though, no color wash whats so ever here. Unfortunately there are a couple of scratches during the Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla movie. They are not very noticeable, but for a print as old as Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla one would have hoped that we would have gotten a near flawless print here. Audio is pretty good, not flawless, but these are the horrible dubbed tracks anyway so... The presentation here is stereo, as it should be. Extra wise this film is a disappointment, nothing for either of the films. Bottom line is that this is just a bare bones presentation of cropped prints of Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla and Godzilla vs. Destoroyah with really good quality video presentation.
