Staging the mammoth sized assault against the impending behemoth required quick movement and fast deployment. This means that lightly armored vehicles were going to be needed to establish a command headquarters. This is when the Type 82 comes in. The Command Vehicle allowed the Japanese military to travel into the rocky terrain of the coastal shores, and set up a head base. Though it was armed with a pair of small machine guns, the car did not see any directive intervention with the reptile. Its only purpose was to move men and other assortment of battle implement documents.
