Riser Kageri

The fastest of the three Risers, Kageri excels both in her agility during combat and the amount of energy she has at her disposal. Sadly, Kageri also has the lowest strength, defense and overall hit points of the three Risers. Her secondary weapon is her signature striker.

Strategy:
Kageri is suggested for more advanced play, her fighting style is much different from the other two Risers, while her lower defense and hit points require that you dodge more attacks. Her lack of range makes it much harder to advance on certain enemies as well, but her huge amount of energy makes her the perfect choice for taking out most bosses very quickly with her Shard Striker.

Moves

B: Low Kick
Vastly different from the other two Risers, instead of the default punch Kageri has a low kick move. The kick has increased range when compared with the other characters' punches, but is a much slower attack. Like the other B moves, the Low Kick can be comboed, simply by pressing B rapidly four times in a row, to have Kageri kick three times before doing an axle kick.

B + Up/Down: Kick
Like the other Risers, Kageri's kick move can be done while in mid-air, or as part of a slide attack by pressing down and B.

B (R): Kageri Striker
After drawing her striker, by pressing R, Kageri has access to the quickest attack in the game. Much like the other characters' default punch, the striker is a quick weapon with minimal range. The Striker can be comboed, by pressing B rapidly four times in a row, to have Kageri strike three times before uppercutting her opponent.

B (R) + Up: Kageri Striker (Aerial)
While jumping, Kageri can slash with her striker at her foes.

Special

L + R: Shard Striker
Charging her striker, Kageri unleashes a torrent of blasts up at the heavens that rain down around her, damaging any opponent who comes in contact. The attack will cover the entire area if Kageri is in the center of the screen, otherwise there might be gaps, to the left or right, if Kageri is too far off to one side.

Like all specials, the fighting meter must be at least in the yellow before this attack can be used; furthermore, it requires approximately 1/5 of a full bar of energy to do the Shard Striker.
