Arm Swing
(II) |
| Hedorah
extends its arm, reaching out to attack the opponent.
As expected, the move has considerable reach, although
is fairly slow to perform for a standard attack. |

Low Swipe
(While ducking, II) |
| While
crouched, Hedorah extends his arm and swings it over head
in an effort to strike its enemy. This move is considerably
quicker then its normal Arm Swing, although this comes
at the cost of reach and damage. |

Arm Strike
(While jumping, II) |
| Hedorah
greatly extends his arm while in midair, stretching it
to incredibly lengths as he tries to strike his adversary.
Unfortunately, of Hedorah's three melee attacks this one
deals the least damage, although it's to be expected given
how easy it is to connect with. |

Flying Charge
(Hold Back, Forward, II) |
| Hedorah
reverts to his flying form as he advances. If he connects,
Hedorah will latch on and perform Toxic Grasp. In terms
of damage, this is an excellent move although connecting
can be difficult unless the enemy is caught off guard.
In performing the attack, be sure to release Back before
pressing Forward. |

Crimson Energy
Beam (Hold II)  |
| Hedorah's
head begins to pulse as his eyes release his Crimson Energy
beam, aimed slightly downward. Pound for pound, this is
one of the best projectiles in the game, as not only can
it hit crouching opponents but it also deals considerable
damage. Its main attraction, though, is that it can be
shot off continuously (holding and releasing II every
two seconds) and requires little energy. Its downfall
is that it has trouble with aerial opponents. |

Sludge (Hold
Up, II)  |
| A
piece of sludge is flung from Hedorah's body in the direction
of his opponent. The distance that the sludge travels
can be controlled by pressing either Forward or Backwards
as it is flung. Unfortunately, this move can not be done
in rapid succession as the sludge will have to dissipate
on the field before another can be thrown, although because
it arcs it is better suited for attacking flying opponents
then his Crimson Energy Beam. |

Sulfuric Acid
Mist (Down, Forward, II)  |
| Sulfuric
Acid Mist begins to emit from Hedorah's body as he is
surrounded by the poisonous emission. Due to its lack
of any sort of range, the move is primarily defensive,
although given the fairly slow speed for the move it has
trouble being used as a quick retaliation. |

Toxic Grasp
(Down, II) |
| Quickly
transforming into its flying form, Hedorah latches onto
his opponent as his toxic body begins to burn them. |
