Battra Larva: Destroyer from the Dark
All around, one of the more powerful characters in the game. Battra benefits from dealing tremendous damage through several of its moves, having a great projectile and its jumping ability, which surprisingly is comparable to Hedorah's as one of the farthest reaching in the game. On the downside, Battra walks very slowly, but given its quick jump and means of charging this is a non-issue.

Moves

Tusk Strike (II)

Battra attacks with its tusks, swinging it in the opponent's direction. The move has little range to it, making it very hard to connect, but it is fairly quick.

Horn Flail (Hold II)

Battra will lower its head to the ground before rearing up, swinging its horn more than 90 degrees.

Horn Thrust (While ducking, II)

With its head to the ground, Battra will quickly thrust its body forward, striking with its horn as it slowly advances.

Tail Strike (While jumping, II)

While in midair, Battra will swing its massive tail in an effort to strike its enemy. When it connects, this attack deals a considerable amount of damage, making it one of the more deadly moves in Battra's arsenal.

Kick (Diagonal jump, II)

While in midair, Battra will strike out with its rear feet. This move varies depending on the direction Battra is moving, as if its going backwards both feet will be used, while if advancing it will only strike with one claw.

Horn Charge (While ducking, I)

Sparking its horn, Battra leaps horizontally toward its opponent. This move is noteworthy because it doesn't require any energy, and doubles as a quick means to close the distance and attack the opponent. Players can continue to hold down the buttons to increase the duration of the move.

Horn Tackle (Hold Back, Forward, II)

This move is identical to Horn Charge, only it deals considerably more damage and is much quicker. In performing the attack, be sure to release Back before pressing Forward and then II.

Prism Beam (Down, Forward, II)

Battra unleashes its Prism beams from its eyes, which will travel across the screen in a long stream. The primary advantage of this move is that's just low enough to the ground to hit ducking opponents unlike other beams.

Horn Beam (Forward, Down, Forward, Down, II)

As its horn ignites with energy, Battra swings its head as the beam strikes in a 90 degree blow. As expected, the move has substantial reach, although it does not travel across the screen. It is excellent for attacking grounded or midair opponents, although doesn't deal a great amount of damage.

Bite (Down, II)

With its enemy restrained, Battra will proceed to strike ferociously with its pincer-like mouth. The attack will cause blood to gusher out as its tusks help will also dig in. In terms of pure damage, this is one of the most powerful grab moves, which is made even better as it requires no energy.

Horn Toss (Up, Back, II)

Using its horn, Battra picks up its adversary and tosses them behind them. In contrast to Bite, this move deals hardly any damage and its only advantage is switching directions with the opponent.
