Confirmed

Godzilla 2000

The hallmark version of Godzilla for Pipeworks' titles, it comes as no surprise to see the first Millennium rendering of the character make an appearance for the PS2 version.

Anguirus

One of the first characters seen for the PS2 version, the model for Anguirus seems to be nicely improved upon compared to what was seen in the previous Godzilla: Save the Earth game for the console.

Gigan (Showa)

Not slated for the Wii version, the Showa era Gigan will be appearing once again for the PS2 release of Godzilla: Unleashed as one of the version's "exclusive" characters.

King Ghidorah

One of Toho's most popular characters, the three-headed monster was seen briefly in the trailer for the PS2 version of the game, featuring a design which looked to replicate the one used in Godzilla: Save the Earth rather than the more Millennium based one featured in the Wii title.

Mothra

Toho's second most recognizable icon, Mothra is posed for another appearance on the Playstation 2 as a playable character.

Mechagodzilla 2

The Heisei version of Godzilla's mechanical double was seen during the PS2 trailer for Godzilla: Unleashed. Sadly, the character model looks fairly simplistic, possibly indicating that resources from the previous game are being recycled for the towering mech.

Fire Rodan

Although its name has not been revealed, it's expected that the Rodan featured in the game will be called Fire Rodan to match what's present in the Wii version.

Megalon

Appearing in every Godzilla title released thus far by Atari, the Seatopian guardian appears to be ready to grace the digital world again for the PS2 Godzilla: Unleashed.

Destoroyah

Godzilla's final adversary in the Heisei series, Destoroyah was an expected inclusion into the roster for the PS2 title.

SpaceGodzilla

The main opposing force in Godzilla: Save the Earth, the extraterrestrial beast will be appearing in both the Wii and PS2 versions of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Orga

Godzilla's first kaiju opponent in the Millennium series, Orga is set to appear in both home console versions of the latest Godzilla game.

Mecha-King Ghidorah

The mechanized version of King Ghidorah was seen briefly in the trailer for the PS2 version of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Baragon

Fairly popular in Japan, and with worldwide recognition thanks to the creature's stint in Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001), the Millennium version of Baragon looks set to appear in both the Wii and PS2 releases of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Moguera

Seen during the PS2 trailer for Godzilla: Unleashed, the Heisei era Moguera appears to be slated Playstation 2 release of the game, sporting a model that looks fairly identical to the one from Godzilla: Save the Earth.

Jet Jaguar

Appearing in the trailer for the PS2 version of the game, the Showa era mech Jet Jaguar looks to be showcased in the fighting franchise once more.

Megaguirus

Seen for only a fraction of a second in the PS2 trailer, the queen of the Meganula swarm will be appearing in both console versions of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Godzilla 90's

The Heisei version of Godzilla is set to appear in both console versions of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Kiryu

Arguably the most popular design for Mechagodzilla, Kiryu will be appearing in the PS2 version of the title. Like the Wii, Kiryu will no longer have his "Mechagodzilla 3" name.

Battra

Appearing in both its Imago and Larval forms, Battra is one of the PS2 "exclusives", not appearing in the Wii version of Godzilla: Unleashed.

Obsidius

Selected through a voting process on IGN that attracted 6,000 electors, Obsidius is an original creation developed by Pipeworks exclusively for the title and appears in both the Wii and PS2 versions of the game.
