A Button: Beak Bite
- Rodan lashes out with his beak to try and bite his foes in an extremely quick attack.

B Button: Talon Slash
- Rodan does a low, and extremely quick, attack with the claws on his feet.

L Button, then A Button: Finger Dive
- While in mid air, Rodan lunges forward with the claws on his wings extended, this attack can score two hits on the opponent if it connects.

L Button, then B Button: Talon Drill
- With tremendous speed, Rodan swoops directly down with the claws on his feet extended. This attack can score either one or two hits against your opponent if it connects.

Hold A Button until flashing, release: Atomic Heat Ray
- Rodan, quickly, unleashes a fire ball that will injure, but can't knock over, the opponent.

Hold B Button until flashing, release: Radioactive Mist
- Rodan releases a radioactive mist from his glands for two seconds, which, if it connects, can score up to three hits against the opponent.

A + B Buttons, and 2/3 Rage Meter: Super Sonic Ram
- Rodan rushes forward to strike his opponent with a powerful hit.

L + R Buttons, and full Rage Meter: Beak Charge
- Rodan rushes across the screen. If he runs into a opponent he will knock them into the air and hit them six times.

L Button, then A + B Buttons and 1/3 of Rage Meter: Aerial Sonic Ram
- While in mid air, Rodan rushes forward to strike his opponent with a powerful hit. Same as Super Sonic Ram, only less damaging.
