| Power-Ups: |
There are four power
ups in the game which are left behind by the Vortaak UFOs.
Each has its own unique benefit that can be unlocked when
the kaiju touch them.

Health Power-Up
When picked up, the player will regain a portion
of their lost health. |
 |
Rage Power-Up
When picked up, the kaiju goes
into Rage Mode: increasing their damage and allowing
them to perform a Rage Attack (A+X), which will
exit Rage Mode. It should be noted that the effect
will eventually where off, regardless of if a Rage
Attack was used. |

Energy Power-Up
When picked up, the player's energy meter is
filled, while it also temporarily boosts the recharge
rate of energy. The icon also gives more tasers
and missiles to those players who are capable of
using them. |

Mothra Airstrike Power-Up
When picked up Mothra will join the player's
side and attack the opponent with her Antenna-beams.
Any player who wishes for Mothra to leave the battlefield
simply has to power up there projectile and hold
R, which will strike the giant moth. |

| Unlocking Characters |
To unlock characters
that aren't initial available on the character select
screen, the player must beat the game with various monsters.
Below is a full list of how to unlock each character.
Godzilla 2000: Beat Adventure Mode with
Godzilla 90's on any difficulty
Gigan: Beat Adventure Mode with Anguirus
on any difficulty
King Ghidorah: Beat Adventure Mode with
Megalon on any difficulty
Destoroyah: Beat Adventure Mode with Godzilla
2000 on any difficulty
Rodan: Beat Adventure Mode with Gigan
on any difficulty
Mecha-King Ghidorah: Beat Adventure Mode
with King Ghidorah on any difficulty
MechaGodzilla: Beat Adventure Mode with
Destoroyah, Rodan, and Mecha-King Ghidorah on any difficulty
(US and Xbox version only)
Kiryu: Beat Adventure Mode with Destoroyah,
Rodan, and Mecha-King Ghidorah on any difficulty (Japanese
version only)
Orga: After unlocking all other characters; beat
Adventure mode with Godzilla 2000 on any difficulty
Kiryu: Beat Adventure Mode with Orga on
Medium or Hard (Xbox version only) |

| Unlocking Stages |
Beat the game on any
difficulty to unlock more stages. Each character unlocks
different levels when you beat the game with them; certain
characters unlock more than one stage while you are
beating the game with them.
The Vortaak Homeworld (Xbox version only)
is unlocked after beating the game with Kiryu on any
difficulty.
The Boxing Arena (Xbox version only) doesn't appear
to have a way to unlock it without using codes. |

| Unlocking Gallery
Pictures |
Play
Adventure Mode or Survival Mode in the
Medium or Hard difficulty. Ever so often with the destruction
of a building a Atari logo will form on the ground with
a pillar of light; collect these to unlock pictures
in the gallery.
Only one Atari logo will appear during
the same match. Also when you have more than 32 Gallery
pictures you have a better chance of unlocking more
in Hard mode.

| Tricks |
Howl During the
Character Select Screen
On the character select screen in a match in which there
is more than one human player; choose your monster while
the other opponent is still undecided. Press X + A to
make your monster howl and move his hands in the "hurry
up" motion.
