Godzilla
The Heisei incarnation of the King of the Monsters, Godzilla is fairly straight forward character with not a great deal of moves. Still, the monster's atomic heat ray is effective enough to cover the monster's ranged arsenal, while the few moves he does have work well for attacking foes at close range. His above average damage also makes him great for beginners, even if his special is frustratingly easy to counter.

Moves

Claw Swipe (Y)

Godzilla quickly reaches out with his claw tipped hand and swipes at his opponent. This move can also be done while jumping or ducking.

Slash (X)

The King of the Monsters rotates his body, putting his weight into his attack, as he reaches out with his claws to try and slash at his enemy. A variation of this move, without turning and aimed downward, can also be done while jumping.

Tail Swing (Down, X)

For this attack, the King of the Monsters quickly turns and swings his tail in the opponent's direction. Because of the speed, damage, and range of this move it's one of Godzilla's more effective means of attack.

Kick (While jumping, hold Down, Y)

A simple mid-air move, where the nuclear behemoth kicks out with his foot to try and strike his opponent.

Tail Whip (While jumping, hold Down, X)

As the King of the Monsters is jumping through the air, he raises his two feet and swings wildly with his tail to try and hit his foe. As expected, the attack has amazing range, making it hard for the opponent to dodge the large area of attack. Tail Whip also deals a sizeable amount of damage, although it is less than his normal Slash attack.

Stampede (Hold Forward/Hold Back, A)

Godzilla quickly rushes across the screen, either backwards or forewards depending on the direction pressed. If Godzilla advances forward then he will also crouch while running, making him a harder target to hit with projectiles.

Head Rush (While running, Y/X)

As the King of the Monsters is stampeding across the screen, in the foreward direction, Y or X can be pressed to make the beast try to slam his head into his enemy. If X is used then the attack will have a chance to strike twice.

Tail Hook (Forward, Down, Forward, Down, Y/X)

Godzilla rotates his body in order to swing his tail at his opponent. If X is used with the attack then the move will also trip his opponent to the ground if it connects.

Atomic Heat Ray (Down, Back, Y/X)

The nuclear behemoth hunches down to fire his signature atomic heat ray. The move will differ, depending on which button is used, with Y causing for a slower beam that expands to a larger size vertically, while using X will cause for a quicker, longer, beam. This move can also be used while jumping.

Atomic Fire (Down, Forward, Y/X)

Godzilla opens his maw to release a stream of atomic fire at his opponent, the duration of which depends on how long Y or X is held. The attack can be aimed in a desired direction by pressing Up or Down. The longer that fire is released for, the longer the delay will be when finished.

Bite (Forward, Down, B)

With his rival in his grasp, the King of the Monsters proceeds to bite them in the jugular several times before loosening his grip and allowing them to collapse on the ground.

Slam (Back, Up, Forward, B)

Godzilla picks up his enemy and violently slams them into the ground in front of him.

Rear Throw (Forward, Up, Back, B)

The King of the Monsters lifts his enemy into the air, before turning around to throw his opponent to the ground behind him.

Nuclear Pulse (Up, Back, Down, Forward, B)

Energy, stored from an unfired atomic heat ray, courses through Godzilla's body before being unleashed against the foe still in his grasp, sending them flying to the ground.

Spiral Ray (Forward, Down, Back, Forward, X)

Red energy courses through Godzilla's body, damaging his opponent if they are close enough, before the King of the Monsters opens his maw to unleash his Spiral Ray. The move is easy to counter, though, as Godzilla will cancel the attack if hit, so it's best if done at a distance.
