Details  Episode: 10  Air Date: 06/04/1973  Running Time: - Synopsis Undeterred by recent failures, the Garoga put into operation their ultimate plan to finally rid themselves of Zone Fighter. Drafting a beast able to literally become its host's shadow before manifesting into its own terrible form, the Garogas release this creature against their rival. Their initial attack is a success, unbeknownst to Zone Fighter who has yet to feel the full effect of the parasite he now houses within himself. The Garoga move to phase two of their plan, unleashing the monster Jipudoro on a helpless city. The Mighty Liner and Smokey appear on the scene, and attack the beast before Zone Fighter changes into his giant form to finish off the creature. No sooner does Zone Fighter appear, though, before his shadow starts to swerve in the day's sun, before taking form on a hilltop. Shadorah was finally born. The creature easily defeats Zone Fighter before ushering Jipudoro off to safety. The creature returns back to its host, as Zone Fighter changes back into his human form. Fighting the enemy within, the Zone Family can only watch as Zone Fighter struggles with the creature while in a bed ridden state. Zone Fighter decides to take the beast head on the next day, with his family by his side. He changes into his giant form as Shadorah takes its physical form again. Zone Fighter is hopelessly outmatched though, and is easily beaten. With Zone Fighter out of the battle, and Shadorah now converging on the nearby populace, it's up to the Zone Family to find a way to stop the creature, and rescue Zone Fighter.
