While staring into the night
sky, Hotaru watches as one of the Garoga meteorites
crashes to Earth. The next morning. the group set to
investigate the crash site. While at the area, the group
decides to split up and look for any traces that one
of the Garoga monsters that might have been unleashed.
Soon after, however, Joe is attacked by a toy airplane.
When the individual controlling the machine finally
reveals himself, Joe screams as to his intent with the
toy plane. The duo is interrupted, though, when Hotaru
and her brother arrive on the scene and immediately
recognize the gentleman as being Sachio, a fellow citizen
of Peace Land. Hikaru has his doubts, but Hotaru is
more than happy to accept the fact that her closest
childhood friend had survived that genocide of Baron
Garoga.
The group returns home, where Sachio tells his
amazing tale of how he had survived. How he was
lucky enough to be on patrol in a spaceship the
day the planet was attacked. Zone Father, like Hikaru,
has visible doubts as to the man's story and leaves
the table. Feeling brushed off, the rest of the
family takes their new found friend about the country
side to show him the sights. While traveling, the
monster Wargilgar appears, prompting Earth’s
hero to transform and battle the howling demon.
Wargilgar, though, proves to be on par with the
hero, as neither could get the upper hand on the
other. That is until Sachio interferes, blasting
the cackling monster with a ray gun. Stunned in
disbelieve, Zone Fighter watches as the creature
disappears, apparently killed by the attack.
After the battle, the team returns home, where Hotaru
and her father discuss the turn of events. Claiming
that there was no honesty in Sachio’s eyes, the
elderly man tried to convince his daughter of the imposter's
true intentions. However, Hotaru refuses to believe
him, and storms out. The next morning, the whole family
tries to make her see the light, yet the young girl
still refuses to believe them. Instead, she runs to
Sachio’s room, where she finds a note and a music
box. Within the writing, her friend professed how much
he would miss her and wrote that if she should miss
him then to open the music box. Immediately the woman
did as the paper instructed. Instantly the toy robots,
tanks and aircraft spring to life and began to attack,
blasting the control room and damaging the Zone Family’s
machines. Realizing what she has done, Hotaru shuts
the music box and ended the toys threat. Soon after,
though, Sachio appears on the TV screen, laughing at
the foolish Zone Family.
Deeply betrayed, Zone Angel runs to confront her
friend as the monster Wargilgar begins to ransack
Tokyo, despite the JSDF’s best attempts to
stop it. Tanks and jets proved no match against
the flame spewing monster. Meanwhile, transforming
into Zone Fighter, Hikaru uses his Astral Dash and
flies into the TV and straight to Tokyo. When arriving,
he soon discovers his limitation. Plagued from a
shoulder wound he received from the bloodthirsty
toys, he was only able to battle with one arm. While
the hero battled bravely, Hotaru confronted her
old friend and was forced to shoot him. The man,
however, rises from the ground and transforms into
a Silver Garoga. This prompts the young woman to
transform as well. Yet even as Zone Angel she could
not overpower him. Fortunately, Zone Junior was
not far away, and together the two gain the upper
hand. Overtaken by rage, the alien casts them aside
and transforms into Spyler, a huge mammoth size
kaiju. Joining Wagilar, the pair tag team on the
injured Zone Fighter. Meanwhile, Angel and Junior
send out a transceiver robot to call for Godzilla's
help. In no time, the nuclear leviathan arrives
to answer the call, and soon turns the tide of the
battle. Together the fighters of justice prevail,
destroying the twin horrors of the Garoga empire.
