It's a shame that such a great composer wasn't involved with more Toho films. Reijiro Koroku is best known for his The Return of Godzilla (1984) soundtrack, although Koroku has dabbled in several other Toho ventures, including the direct-to-video movie Detective Story (1992). Outside of Toho films, he has worked on animated movies, video games, and television shows, giving the composer an interesting portfolio of work that spreads across numerous genres and several mediums.
