Best known for her role as Ishigaki's super violent wife Mimi in Survive Style 5+ (2004), Reika Hashimoto has been active primarily as a model in Japan, attracting attention for her mixed Japanese and Spanish heritage. In fact, Hashimoto's career in the business started at the young age of 10, while her stint as an actor began at the age of 15 for the TV series B-Fighter Kabuto. Hashimoto's first motion picture appearance came three years later in 1999 with Makoto Tezuka's Hakuchi. In the years that followed, the actress spread out to do more Japanese films, one of which included Gen Sekiguchi's Survive Style 5+ (2004), while also performing in several Chinese television shows.
