The official website for the final entry in the One Missed Call series is now opened, and can be found at chakuari.jp. At present there isn't much there beyond a lot of production photos in the background, and a very short teaser trailer.

The movie, which opens on June 24th, 2006, once again looks to move the series abroad as the latest film takes place during a school visit to Korea. The movie also appears to further alter the "normal formula" as the film will revolve around students having to pass a cell phone message on to others if they wish to save their own lives, although in the process placing the other at risk like was seen with the tape in Ring (1998). No word at this time if Mimiko, or any other familiar characters from the series, will make another appearance.

As previously reported, the movie will be directed by Manabu Asou, while confirmed cast members for the film include Maki Horikita and Meisa Kuroki (both pictured above). The film is being produced by a production commission that involves Toho, Kadokawa, Nippon TV, and CJ Entertainment.
