Christian Nun Kyoko is being pursued romantically by two men. The first is Haruhiko Tenryu, a member of his family's Yakuza gang, the Tenryu. The other man is Kumashiro, a police detective and often in conflict with the Tenryu. Despite the trouble they cause, the Tenryu gang is relatively peaceful. This is because of the group's strict Christian beliefs. However, the group has a rival gang in the form of the Kuroiwa, a Yakuza group that will kill to achieve their goal. Haruhiko finds this out the hard way. Despite winning Kyoko's affection, and about to marry her, Haruhiko is shot dead by a former lover, Yuri. As it turns out, she was being manipulated by the Kuroiwa. The group is not finished, though, as they plan to target Kyoko's church...
