In the depths of Ichiro's dreams, while he explores Monster Island with Minilla, the boy is attacked by the mental manifestation of a real life lowly robber. The robber's real hands reach into the boy's mind in the form of the Maneater, a humanoid plant creature that inhabits the dense shrubbery of the island. This demon tears Ichiro away from his playful fantasies and wakes him up to the stark reality that he's being kidnapped by bank robbers.
