Hmmm..... now earth 11 is the Gender reversed universe.
Superman is Superwoman and Batman is Batwoman.
Now Power girl would be Power Boy or something right? Well Power Girl is known for having huge knockers so does that mean power boy is known for a huge penis...... lol. _________________

Hasn't come up yet. They have shown Supergirl's analogue though. He looks almost like Superman as a teenager.
The Powergirl analogue would probably look like Fabio in a cape(aka Powerboy from Earth-1). _________________ People Eating Tasty Animals |

So.... I finally got to read some Swamp thing and I didn't read my moore stuff because I was waiting for the roots of the swamp thing to come in.
Now, I've read Roots of the Swamp thing.... I must say it was pretty awesome. I love the story style and I loved the art, it's sort of hard to believe it takes place in the DC Universe because there's no real elements of it what so ever. Swamp thing alone is badass, and has become a favorite of mine.
Now, when I get to the Alan Moore stuff I'll probably jizz myself. Because..... Moore writing one of my favorite characters and with Spectre and Etrigan appearing.... Epic Wins.
I plan on reading some of Batman the dark knight returns after I'm done with Moore's whole run. Then, I'm hitting wild storm to FINALLY read up on Mr. Majestic(Yeah, I know another Superman-like character what a surprise). Heh.
Speaking of which.... I need to start catching up with the Man of Steel seeing how I've left him behind for a while. So DC fans, what books of Superman do you recommend me to read?
Anything but the following:
The Death, the world without, and the return of Superman
Superman Red Son
Superman: Doomsday(Collecting nearly all the battles with Doomsday)
Superman Last son(Which if you've seen Superman II, you GOTTA read it! It's a masterpiece and it's OOHhh soo good.)
And while you're at it, why not throw some Batman at me. Because.... I've never really liked the character but I kind of want to read up on him now.
So, which do you NOT choose?
Just Batman: Red Rain. _________________

I just finished reading Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale's Superman For All Seasons which I thought was great.
I'm also picking up Geoff John's new origin story, Superman: Secret Origin as it comes out each month, and that's been fantastic too (I'd recommend it if you can get both issues out so far, if not, wait for the TPB, Amazon has it listed as a June 8th release next year).
I'm a little behind on Superman reading myself ( any recommendations for me too?), but as far as Batman goes, I'd recommend:
The Dark Knight Returns (which it sounds like you're doing already)
Batman: Year One
Batman: The Long Halloween
Batman: Dark Victory (sequel to Long Halloween)
Batman: The Killing Joke
Grant Morrison's run from the last few years, including Batman and Son, The Black Glove, The Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul, Batman R.I.P (to be read in that order, I realize TRORAG isn't just Morrison, but it fits into his run on Batman really well).
Arkham Asylum
Batman: Hush
Batman: Heart of Hush (along with the rest of Paul Dini's run on Detective Comics, and his current, ongoing series Gotham City Sirens and Batman: Streets of Gotham)
Batman: A Death in the Family
Batman: A Lonely Place of Dying
Batman: Cataclysm and No Man's Land are also pretty fun. The Knightfall trade paperbacks are worth looking into also, but not as much as the other stuff IMO (Knightfall Vol. 1 is really good, but after that it goes down hill slowly, and they left out a huge chunk of story between volumes 2 and 3).
Batman related without really starring him, but I'd also recommend Greg Rucka's Gotham Central: Half a Life, and especially his current run with J.H. Williams on Detective Comics featuring Batwoman (which is currently my favorite monthly title).
If you like Golden Age comics, then I'd also recommend The Batman Chronicles. If you aren't a fan of the era, you may want to pass though.
Oh, but stay away from All-Star Batman and Robin. I only bought it because of a few issues I picked up at the store, and everything I heard about it. It's got beautiful art, but its a total train wreck. A totally fascinating train wreck, but a train wreck none the less.
Sorry if that seems like a lot. Probably more Batman than you wanted, but I was on a role.
Anyone got any good Batman stories I didn't mention I should check out? I hear good things about Batman: Year 100. _________________
