I've actually beaten Bioshock on both of the hardest difficulties, and Big Daddy's are indeed frustrating.
If you wanna kill that first Rosie in Neptunes bounty, what I did was let those Splicers get thier asses kicked first and then use TK to fire the explosive barrels at it (i think theres 2 or 3), after you use them all run through that door and go into the area where the vending machine is and grab the other explosive barrels and go back to where the Rosie is and fire those as well. It won't be smooth sailing but if you repeat this (and avoid getting killed) then you should be able to ware down and eventually kill the Rosie.
There should also be some electric bucks around that you can use once you've used all of the barrels.
If you have anymore questions, let me know. |

Thanks I'll try that when I play neptunes Bounty on Wednesday. I'm taking it one area a day so as not to overwhelm my self. _________________ PSN Name: GenoBret

Just got my Netflix streaming disc in today and I'm not impressed with how the PS3 does Netflix now, things load up much slower than on the 360. I tested out a few minutes of "The Host" which is being listed as in HD but unfortunatly the film starts up and they switch it to 720x480 which is a version of Full Screen HD so the image looks stretched.
My suggestion is to hold off on Netflix till it gets implemented in a firmware update. _________________ Please save the the film Fog Horn by signing this Petition |

Crap, seriously? That sucks. I'm waiting for my NetFlix disk to come in, but from what your saying this is going to keep me on the 360 for a bit longer now......well that, and Left 4 Dead 2 of course.
Any idea on when a firmware update might be available? _________________ Three

I've heard late next year and after some research on Gamefaqs I'm not the only one who is having issues with Netflix on the PS3. The only advantage that it offers over the 360 right now is that it does true Dolby Digital 2.0 which really doesn't effect me right now since I don't have either my PS3 or 360 hooked up to surround sound.
My guess is we won't see Netflix implemented till 3.5 or 4.0 since Sony usually gives us big stuff in an x.0 or x.5 update. _________________ Please save the the film Fog Horn by signing this Petition |

Influential and always pushing new boundaries, FINAL FANTASY has transcended generations and cultures for over 20 years. Behind each entry in the series is a team of the most talented minds devoting years of their craft to create. Now, the creative minds that brought you FINAL FANTASY VII and FINAL FANTASY X take the acclaimed series into an entirely new realm with FINAL FANTASY XIII, an entry that touts the series' most impressive cinematic experience, once again setting the new standard in RPG gaming.
Square Enix is truly excited to announce that FINAL FANTASY XIII will be released on March 9, 2010. The much anticipated FINAL FANTASY XIII is the first FINAL FANTASY title developed specifically for high-definition consoles, and also marks the beginning of a brand new chapter in the franchise, FABULA NOVA CRYSTALLIS FINAL FANTASY XIII.
Dealt a fate that marks them a threat to Cocoonhumankind's floating haven in the skyLightning, Snow and the others must find the strength within themselves to break free of their curse and fight for what they believe in. An immersive story of destiny, decisions and faith is about to unravel.
The date has been set. The rest is up to you. |
I'll rent this game and if I like I'll buy it,but my faith went down in the FF after 12. _________________ PSN Name: GenoBret

I apologise in advance if this is out of line, but why is this in the Sony systems thread?
FFXIII isn't a PS3 exclusive, it's on Xbox 360 as well. _________________ "As for the Bible, it's certainly not toilet paper (though I rolled a joint in pages from the bible before)" - Winslow Leach |

| Because it makes no sense to talk about the same game on 2 different topics, and because the MS thread has 0 posts. |

He could have created a Final Fantasy Game Discussion thread like I just did. _________________ Please save the the film Fog Horn by signing this Petition |

New episode of GTTV featuring exclusive God of War 3 footage. Is absolutely stunning (hard to imagine a game of this scale could be done this gen).
Enjoy.
(Posted in this thread b/c I can't double post in the GoW3 topic). |
Just PM someone to bump the GOWIII next time.
Getting back on topic I know it's old news but the Sony motion controller has been delayed until this Fall. _________________ Please save the the film Fog Horn by signing this Petition |

Yeah, the "leap year" bug.
On the 1st of March, "Fat" PS3s glitched out because their clocks thought it was a leap year; in many cases, this led to corruption of trophy data. Thankfully, it's fixed now. _________________ "As for the Bible, it's certainly not toilet paper (though I rolled a joint in pages from the bible before)" - Winslow Leach |
