I think it's best Ultraman stays separate. I don't know his rules but it sounds to me he has a wildly different universe than Godzilla or Gamera.

I just can't find it in me to give a shit about Ultraman. I don't hate the franchise or anything I just... don't care. A Godzilla/Gamera crossover game would be very, very exciting though. It also will never happen. :(

I'll just have to day-dream about a game where Gigan and Guiron can go toe-to-toe on Terra or Irys and Destoroyah can duke it out under one of the giant Legion flowers.

Do you think a Massive Online RPG type of game would work? A game where you can create your own monster and travel across the Earth with other people. I love how Dragon Ball Online looks, and something similar to that might work for the Godzilla series.

I completely disagree, maybe for Ultraman but I don't think so for Godzilla.

I like those ideas, but I kinda doubt they will be used.

How about a Godzilla game that is very similar to Dragan Ball Z SAGA where you can go around cities and islands meeting other monsters and fighting with them, maybe have a create a kaiju featurethat is similar to Smackdown vs Raw, that actually has each of the monsters actual theme songs instead of made up ones, and when the monsters' beams hit buildings or the ground, have them explode like in the movies

Not a whole lot but I thing it would be cool if Monster Island has faults open up (Godzilla vs Megalon) or a few towers on the island send out balloons causing a blizzard (Son of Godzilla).

My idea for a Godzilla Massive Online RPG game.

Title: Godzilla Kajiu Universe
Publisher(s): Microsoft Game Studios, Bandai Namco
Developer(s): Cryptic Studios
Platform(s): Windows, Xbox 360

Story:

The story takes place in 2954, the Earth has been living in a post-apocalyptic Planet where Gaint Monsters has been wiping out the Life on the Earth for 1000's of years. Not all of Monsters are evil as Godzilla and the rest of the monsters on Monster Island since 1999 have been Earth Defenders and will team up with the Humans to make Earth a better place once again. Meanwhile the Black Hole Aliens have arrive at Earth as they plan to take over the Milky Galaxy, have send out their own Monsters along with King Ghidorah, Gigan, and MechaGodzilla to take over the Earth. Now its up for you too chose on what side on you want to be on!

Gameplay:

The player can create and control their own monster. When picking which monster you create, you will pick which side you will join. The Playable Classes are:

Earth Defenders
Global Defense Force
Aliens
Mutants

Depending on who you choose, as a Earth Defender then you can team up with others to complete missions and stop other monsters from destroying the Planet. As a Global Defense Force, you can built your own Mecha Kajiu to protect humanity from other monsters and team up with others to stop from destroying the Planet. As a Alien, your job is to work with the Black Hole Aliens and must wipe out the Earth. You can travel across the universe on other Planets as well.

As a Mutant, you are a Anti Hero and you can either choose to be Good or Bad. The game also feature all of the Godzilla monsters from the Toho movies even The American Godzilla (Both the LP and Tristar Godzilla), along with other Toho Monsters that never appear in an Godzilla movie like a Mothra Leo.

So who here thinks their should be a character creator in the next game?

in my opinion yes, because i would like create monster like bagan and gigamoth or gamera or any alternate attire of a monster in game to create custom monsters, fused monsters, new monsters, deleted monsters, and ones never brought into the game world

so yup their my vote.....

But it's virtually impossible really. A Character Customizer would be awesome though.

Yeah, this is about the size of it.

Unlike normal fighting games with a create-a-character option (i.e. Soul Calibur), these are monsters we're dealing with. They don't all have the same body shape. It works for games like Soul Calibur because all the characters are humans (barring a couple exceptions, but the creation engine only lets you make humans). The customization boils down to changing their clothes, facial features, eye and skin color, hair style and color, and weapons. But you're still working off the same template: the human body. Monsters vary waaaaaaay more than that.

A Character Customizer I think would be a neat feature though - the ability to change the skin hue, power up and down certain abilities, pick between a few different beams, or in a DAMM or STE model, pick a rage move. Could be fun. I know an upgrade token system was planned for STE but cut.

They could do it for Spore, why not a fighting game? If enough time and effort with a little creativity is thrown in it could work great.

You'd be better off just making an entirely separate game for it, then. Devoting that amount of time and effort into putting it into a Godzilla game would only make the Godzilla portion suffer.

Spore's a different kind of game, and I believe it was in production for several years. The longest production time for a Godzilla game I know of is G:U was being worked on for I think, a month or so over a year.
