Perhaps the best thing would be to say that Mechagodzilla wasn't terribly agile. He was mobile, being able to fly at all, but he didn't have, say, Rodan's AGILITY or the ability to quickly adapt.

Maybe, idk. That's what I was thinking.

Good call Tohosaurus. Actually I felt like Moguera wasn't very agile either. Actually all the Heisei vehicles and robots were not very agile or quick (with the exception to Super X)

Three Godzillas? Four counting Little Godzilla? No thanks.

I'm actually happy with the way the movie turned out. Putting Mechagodzilla into the formula would have been overkill.

Voted without. It was cool to see Moguera back in action (though I like the Showa version way more), and more Mechagodzilla would have been overkill.

On the condition that MG had a freakishly elaborate re-design. A total re-armament.

Otherwise, I don't really care enough about this film to say either way.

I would've been fine with a Gozillapalooza. Although MOGERA in some ways seems like a step back from MG'93, I still like the mech, and thought it it did play a signifigant role in the final battle. Although I wish it did survive the flick, and have a part to play in Godzilla Vs. Destroyah. One way those behind the flick could've gone was something like the SMG-IInd from the Godzilla Generations:Maximum Impact video game. Where the robot the UNGCC developed was an amalgam the Mecha-G, Garuda, and even put the robot head of Mecha-King Ghidorah to use.Image
That way, while you got a new Mechagodzilla to throw into the mix, you'd still get an original robot in the deal also. Besides, those arm mounted gattling guns would've been the shiznit.

It's tough. MOGUERA is a fun creation but it would've made FAR more sense to use MechaGodzilla - in-universe, repairing an existing mech would cost far less than making a brand new one in a year's time, and out-of-universe, same logic - would have costed less for Toho to build an entirely new suit than to just reuse or fix up the old one. Not to mention it'd make MechaGodzilla a bit more interesting in the overall Heisei continuity for appearing multiple times and playing both a big bad and a lesser of the two evils.

I know three Godzillas is overkill but I think it would make a lot more sense than what we saw onscreen.

I actually prefer Moguera. It was new (for the Godzilla series, atleast), simple, and managed to be badass while still looking goofy. Which I think are awesome qualities for some underdog characters. But I will admit, MechaGodzilla teaming up with Godzilla would probably have been among the franchise's most epic moments ever.

I personally thought Moguera was pretty cool. Im glad that he was included in the heisei series.

It would have been to way extreme to have essentially four frickin' Godzillas in the same frickin' film! Besides, it was nice seeing a pretty much trivial Mecha given some more time to shine.

Add MG and SMG to space Godzilla and Moguera to destroyer.

Eh, I think the MGII design is pretty underwhelming, but Moguera just looked goofy to me. I guess I would've liked to see MGII in SpaceGodzilla, but maybe with some upgrades, possibly to bring his look in line with the previous film's art poster.

Mechagodzilla II wouldve of been interesting to see instead of two against one, a Three way battle but at the same time i think that he gave its purpose on the movie he appeared and give Moguera a second chance...although that idea of
Moguera in Destoroyah sounds awesome.

MOGUERA should've replaced Mechagodzilla in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and there shouldn't have been a Hensei MG.

Of course, the movie would've sold much less if it was titled Godzilla vs the Mysterians Guy...

Worse because 3 different forms of Godzilla at once would be weird and why need 4 kinds of Godzilla if you only need 2?(Though they had 3...)

Maybe, idk. That's what I was thinking.

Perhaps flexible would be another good word to use. Of course, nearly every single Heisei kaiju has this problem. MG is not the only guilty one.

Had the Heisei suits been slimmed down and made out of that new lighter material that the GFW suits were then maybe we would have gotten some good T&C fights in the Heisei films. They may not be as good as Showa but they'd probably still be way more decent then just bumping into one another. Slimmer suits and using a new lighter material for the suits is one of the few things GFW did right.

Hopefully if they still use suits in future films they'll do the same thing GFW did except, you know, with fights that actually last longer then a minute.
