I think the first Muruchi's death WAS tragic.

I'm not too well versed in Ultraman. Which Muruchi got his jaw ripped off? That's the one I was talking about. It was violent, and a little sad (poor thing) but I wouldn't say it was tragic.

Titanosaurus is more like Murcuhi than JJ is like Ultraman

There where two Muruchi's. One in Jack's time, where Jack killed it, along with Meits seijin, like normal Ultramen did, fight and beam. Muruchi 2 appeared when Metron Jr. and Dogoris appeared in Ace, where Muruchi stepped abit out of line, bumped into Dogoris, was knocked down, got his jaw ripped off, all the way down to his middle, and then had his leg and arm ripped off. All while screaming. Two new Muruchi's, Zoa Muruchi, appeared in Mebius and Galaxy.

Dear god, so he's the kaiju from that gruesome clip from Ace? I knew I had seen him somewhere before.

Titanosaurus is a criminally underused monster. Good daikaiju from a good movie.

The death of that one character was more gruesome. Muruchi got what was coming to him.

I like Titanosaurus. For a papier mache monster, he looked awesome. :)

Not sure I'm following you? Which character had the more gruesome death? Muruchi, Doragoris or Metron?

Ah, my bad. I thought you were talking about the original Muruchi. Sorry. :-x

It's a shame such a popular actor now makes his living selling used cars.

Titanosaurus may be the final Showa monster, but he's not the least- not at all. The suit looks great, and the monster was a terrific fighter. He gave Godzilla a brutal battle. His musical score is also a nice touch.

Titanosaurus is one of my favorite foes in the Showa Series. Titano was a strong fighter when under mind control. The one problem I had was just how he went down. Godzilla was damn lucky that Titano wasn't in full strength after he got nailed by the JDSF with their sonic waves. Titano should still have gave Godzilla a rougher fight.

The movie (had it been done without Titanosaurus) would have been good, but the plot of the movie wove together interesting back stories and good characters in general so well, that the movie may have lost a decent amount of awesomeness without the giant Dino.

Good Kaiju. I would like to see him in another movie soon.

Very cool monster. Can't help but think he'd have been way cooler in Godzilla vs The Sea Monster instead of Ebirah, but I suppose that's pointless whining at this point.

Definetly one of my favorite. I think it would have been nice to see him solo against Godzilla, and maybe not under control, but the movie he was in was good, and a good way to introduce him into the series.
