$50 is not a bad deal, and not to mention I make a lot of money at my job. And that I buy a new game like every two-five months since I don't play video games as I used too, and that usally play the same game with my friends of mine on Live. I got Reach back in early october, and it was the first game I bought since Transformers: WFC in June.

but you can play all the online compatible games on pS3 for no money at all... and you can use the PShome, and you can use netflix

360 has netflix as well, and I have a PS3 as well, and I will admit that I'm not a fan of PShome. And XBL has party chats which is something that the PS3 does not have IIRC?

The way I look at it, console doesn't matter much. It's the games. I've been lucky enough to have an Xbox 360 and a Wii personally. I like the Wii better as a standalone console, but I enjoy the Xbox 360 games more. That and the fact the Xbox 360 games have multiplayer, whereas the Wii lacks it for most releases that aren't extremely recent.

As for motion controls, I'm just annoyed because that was the main criticism of the Wii by Xbox and PS3 fans. To me, it's like saying "It wasn't cool until we had it."

But at least the Wiimote doesn't look gay like the Move and can be used by black people, unlike the Kinect. Because Microsoft is racist.

I don't care about the console. I'm a whore for a good game. Unlike Gvamp who is just a whore.

Honestly, I would probably buy a a lot of games on the 360 if I owned one. Probably more than the Wii. But I would pick the Wii as my favorite console every time. Because when it comes down to it, the good games on whatever system Nintendo is currently selling are always the BEST of that generation. Besides Soul Caliber (Dreamcast) taking the spot from Metroid Prime last generation, Nintendo has put out the highest rated game of each generation since the NES.

The third party support may not be the best, but Nintendo does still make the best games. And games like Monster Hunter Tri, GoldenEye, Sin and Punishment 2 , etc aren't too shabby either.

It's the games.

That how I see it. Why do I buy a console? To play games. And the Xbox 360 delivers the games I want, some of which (Mass Effect) aren't available on the other two systems. $50 a year isn't that big a deal, so I never got that particular piece of criticism. For the games I want, it's easily manageable. It's also got my favorite controller out of the three. I'll be the first to admit that Kinect is stupid, though.

I'll also say my appreciation for the Wii has gone up a bit since the summer, enough that I'll put it above PS3.

The thing is though you don't have to pay $50 a year for Live, most retail places run the cards for really cheap Two years ago I only paid $30 for my 13 Month card, last year I paid $40 from amazon.

Also throught the year several places online will offer contests or a promotion where you can get a free month of Gold.

As for gaming yes Chris is right I'm a whore, I love gaming and since every platform offers something I like I have them all. Though I will say throught the middle of the year until recently my gaming interest has died down and I'm starting to think it had something to do with me being depressed.

Good god, this topic again....

No console is "better" than the other. They all offer unique experiences, and games, that are specific to their platforms. Nitpicking the hell out of their strengths and weakness's is seriously a waste of time. For gamers with a variety of tastes, having the Wii plus either a 360 or PS3 is usually good enough. Some have all 3. Really, it all just comes down to what kind of games the player likes to play, which will determine which console they want to own, or generally prefer.

$50 a year is not a bad thing for me since I get a good amount of money at my job, and I don't buy a new game until once every two or sometime five months. I'm a type of person usally sticks with one game at the moment. I don't see why Sony fan boys mock the 360 users because they have to paid money for online.

With all of the stuff you get with the 360, its worth the deal. The funny thing is that I used to be a major Sony fan since I grew up with the original PS, and I loved my PS2. And that I never cared for the original Xbox since I would hardly play it, and now its backwards (Loved the 360, and hardly play my PS3).

I like the setup that I have. Wii for the 1st party games and the occasional 3rd party game( No more heroes and Monster hunter Tri). PS3 for the PS3/Xbox360 games and the PS3 has console exclusives that I think I would like more. PC for most of the 360 only games that I am interested in.

Not everyone here is nitpicking lol and personally I have a Wii and an Xbox 360 and that's just fine for me.
