Bandai probably had the sculpts for the POD figures done large enough to eventually do a 6 inch vinyl from and shrunk it for the POD figures.

Just stopped by Walmart for a last minute addition for a Mother's Day gift (chocolate). No Sony dvd's yet or toys, but the Kraken blu-rays/dvd's and the reissued Destroy All Monsters dvd were out in the new releases rack. At $8 a piece, I had to pick up all three blu-rays.

some TRU stores already have him for $18.99(cheaper then $22.99 + $8.99 shipping) but for those that are too far away from one this could be a good solution to getting him...even some international buyers could get him too instead of waiting ages to see if their local retailers will get merchandise for this movie only to find that it's some of the items and chances are the ones that no one wants to buy :|

My Amazon order for Art of Destruction says Preparing for Shipment, in the past, I've had Amazon try to get preorders to me on the street release date as a thanks for ordering with them, so I'm hoping it ships today and maybe arrives tomorrow, but certainly will be soon enough, I can't wait.

Mine is still labeled under pre-order. I hope it's not going to be like the Light and Sound kit and glitch up. Amazon's probably going to hold it a week so they can ship it with the novel.
At least the graphic novel and soundtrack have already shipped.

And, knowing my Wal-Mart... it will have none of that.
Yeah, my Wal*Mart had jack. Just the Gamera Legacy Collection and I wasn't interested in that.
