Ironicly, I think that silloute actully resembles a late 60's and 70's Showa Godzilla, which is ironic since this is far from that tone of film.

It all makes sense now.
I really like what I see there when it comes to Godzilla. I'm guessing when it's all said and done that Godzilla's scenes will be frightening to some degree. The One and Only wrote:http://i61.tinypic.com/ab6s5x.jpg
Probably the tail dragging.ernesth100 wrote:So that scene with all the dirt dug in a path towatd the ocean I have 3 theories.
1Something was dragged into or out of the ocean.
2Godzillas tail dragging.
3Something tunneling beneath and the land collapsing in.

Sorry, but I'm not seeing the "spines of 1954." First off, I want to get out the way by saying that I think you (my self included) are analyzing his look a bit too much. He's not some holy amalgamation of every Godzilla's essence, just a Godzilla. Back to the comment, his dorsal plates really don't look like 54's at all. They look like vaguely triangular fins.XxComablack1937xX wrote:I see a little bit of every era in Godzilla's design, plus there own updates.
Arms are def showa, hunched over a little bit like in the 2000 series, Spines of 1954, face of Godzilla 1984, Gills and brows def updated but for the better. I dunno i need to see it on screen but i really don't see any problems with it.
My brother pointed this out as well. Wouldn't surprise me, now that they've likely solidified the final designs of the creatures and are making small corrections like that. It's a little difficult to see though, would have to see it in better quality to be sure, or if someone makes a gif-comparison of the scene.Goji-sama wrote:Also, this is probably me seeing things, but I could have sworn that the Muto in the train scene in this trailer is SLIGHTLY darker than it was in the previous two trailers.

I noticed the erect posture but isn't that what we want, an upright Godzilla. Also, this has a hunch but doesn't look like it from the front.ernesth100 wrote:I have two things two say. That scene with Godzilla rising from the smoke. Anyone else noticed the obscenely human like posture?
There probably are dead bodies.ernesth100 wrote:Two I sware there were dead bodies in the flood scene.
