I hope whatever big Titan that is used gets more then a 5 minute entrance and then 30 seconds of action before it gets killed. The Kraken got shafted in the first.

Oh yes. Because the Kraken had such a HUGE role in the original movie. It totally had a much larger role and did a lot more. It soooo didn't just appear, wave its arms, and then get turned to stone.

i didn't like the remake of Clash of the Titans, the characters are bland an the fights with Medusa and the Kraken are a dissapointment.

It didn't live up to expectations, but I am willing to give this new film a look.

Anyway, loved the first. Looking forward to more.

No kidding. I remember back in the days of finding out news of Tokyo SOS and GFW that the fans would get excited at any new kaiju movie. At least then they would see the movie first before deciding it sucks or was medicore. Now a Kaiju movie comes, the fans are like "eh, looks medicore. I'll pass". The fans complain about the public not giving godzilla films a chance, yet they will not give several movies a chance.

Anyways, I loved the first. For those that complain about the Kraken's screen time, if your not also complaining about his screen time in the original then YOU ARE A HYPOCRITE AND HAVE NO RIGHT TO COMPLAIN WHATSOEVER!!!!!

I look foreword to the second movie.

There was an original?

After viewing wikipedia, I can safely say that well the Clash of the Titans movie is based oof a relic from the 70's, the original isn't well known. This film is pretty independent from it, using the film's mythos to create its own similar story.

You never know that Clash of the Titans '010 was a remake :eh:? That might be the main reason why the remake made so much money because its a remake to a popular movie that a lot of people watch and grew up with, and people wanted to see how the remake will turn out.

First you hate on Jurassic Park, and now this.

Also, Clash of the Titans was made in 1981.

Killing the Kraken would have to have angered Hades, so he might send his attack dog, Cerberus. I can imagine several ways to make that three headed dog into a nightmare.

Yeah, at first I was kind of defending the film prior to watching it but I'm sorry... the first one kind of blew.

And the kraken was as dissapointing as Devastator and Venom, but I will say his design looked cool. I'm hoping this sequal will be a lot better and the CGI being a little better too, plus fix the 3D as I heard it sucked.

Edgaguirus, did they mention Cerebrus in the movie? Because I don't remember any one saying that Hades had something like that. Maybe Cerebrus is from the original movie.

Nope. Dioskilos was, he was the two headed dog that guarded the entrance to Medusa's lair, but they didn't include him in the remake either.

I know. Cerberus gets no mention in either film. My point was that it would make a good choice of monster for Perseus to face.
