I'm not sure if this thread already exist, but this is the thread for the upcoming sequel to the recent reamke of Clash of the Titans which was a box office hit. Sam Worthington, Gemma Arterton, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson are signed up for the sequel.

Brian Tyler (The 4th Floor, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Rambo, and Fast & Furious) might be the composer for the movie as well.

I'll base my viewing experience entirely on what monsters are in it.

I never saw the first movie but I hear it was very bad and I choose to skip it, I might watch it on FX in another year or two. The movie was the seventh highest-grossing film of 2010 worldwide so far which is why its getting a sequel.

James Franco (Spider-Man 1-3) is in talks to play Agenor:

I really enjoyed the remake more than the original, it was nice and actiony so I am looking forward to this one for sure. 8-)

Before anyone jumps on me I will admit that the original movie credit for storytelling better than the remake.

While not even in the same league as the original, the remake was entertaining (still wish a director's cut was released with all of the different deleted and alternate scenes which could have made a better film). With a new director and stronger need for originality, I am willing to give this a chance. Except it would be nice to have some actual TITANS. That is, the Titans being more monsterous looking than what VGs like God of War showed.

They need to bring the Kraken back to life so that he can actually have some screentime. What you saw in the trailer was it.

I actually thought the ''Remake'' was pretty entertaining an i thought the visuals were top-notch but then again im not nip-picking at every little flaw in this movie.

I thought the character's were just fine, Hades was cool, The Kraken was awesome despite not appearing like the Original an i actually like the battle scene's with the Scorpion's.

So i actually do look forward to the Sequel, What killed this movie was the cheap ass 3D they hyped it for ''which i saw this in 2D'' which is why i wasn't to angry.

Depending on whos in it an how the story goes ill watch it but again ONLY in 2D.

Godzilla will be the only movie i pay to see in IMAX an 3D

You know, I don't get the hate on Clash. It was by no means a great movie, but it was good fun.

I mean, honestly, what were you expecting? A cinematic masterpiece?

The original Clash of the Titans only gets defended because it's a Harryhausen film. Seriously, that's one of his weakest films as far as story and characters go. I'm not the least bit offended about the remake because the original was pretty lame.

I'd be considerably more annoyed with the film if it was, say, Seventh Voyage of Sinbad or Valley of Gwangi.

Even so, they'd still be remakes of B-movies. You can't expect people to handle 'em the same way an original work would be done.

And I'm actually fairly sure they did remake Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, saw something like it on Netflix instant view the other day. I was... not pleased.

The original had a nice, simple story and the remake was all over the f*cking place. It's like the '90s Orochi movie. X_X

It made money so of COURSE it's getting a sequel.

Isnt Human Centipede getting a sequel?

If a film makes it's budget back + $20, it gets a sequel

Anyway, loved the first. Looking forward to more.

I wasn't expecting a sequel, but oh well. The movie needed more story, but it wasn't all bad. The kraken is going to be a hard creature to top, so I'll be waiting for more info on what titans are involved.

I have yet to see a chimera on the screen, so that would be interesting.
