^ Thats close to what I was thinking, it will probably have the same pose as the leaked toy though, and not be as detailed.

It's not final until approved. I see no reasons why it wouldn't be approved, it looks like this Godzilla.

I'm thinking this might be the Jakks figure. Too simple to be an action figure like Bandai's. Looks large and bulky.

Yeah, I'm quite positive that's the 31" Jakks figure.

Maybe the mouth looks weird because it opens?

Chris just said the pic needs to be taken down.

May be wise to do that.
I can't believe that Godzilla was the only surviving member of its species, but if we continue conducting nuclear tests, it's possible that another Godzilla might appear somewhere in the world again.

You shouldn't be really, bigger toys should have amazing detail. Besides, the 18+ inch Zilla I have has amazing detail, just limited on articulation, which it looks like this guy might fall in that area as well.

Found the pic y'all are talking about at TokuNation.com. Not really jazzed over this, whoever is making it. Spines are way toned down, & overall looks rather static. Know it's not Tamashii Nations or NECA's work - they can do MUCH better than that.

It's difficult to gauge the size of the spines given the angle. And you aren't going to get Tamashii Nations or NECA quality on a toy that large for that price range.

Were you expecting X-Plus detail?

I was pretty pleased with most people's reactions to it. I was afraid SHMA spoiled collectors these days.

Edit; And Manda ninja'd me.

No, you're being unrealistic. Common sense dictates a toy that large with the price point of 30-40 dollars isn't going to have the detail of a figure that is small and has incredible articulation, as well as a high price tag.

Yeah, I was expecting it to be a whole lot smoother. While the short arms and stiff back make it feel a little awkward, it'll still look good sticking WAY out on the shelf.

I think I'm gonna set my lights and sound mini-godzilla on top of his head.

How would you know how it 'feels'? It's not even released yet. I think it looks superb for how large and inexpensive it is. He'll go nicely with my 18" Zilla.
