Supposedly there's one in the works but I'm not sure if it's a fan game or what.

Oh man, I forgot all about that remake thing. All this time with no news? Doesn't bode well.

I would love to see a remake or a sequel to this game. Godzilla 2: War of the Monsters (1992) doesn't count.

[Instead of making another topic about it, I've decided to bump this thread.]

If you could change one thing about Godzilla: MOM...

Postby GodzillaFan64 » Sun Jun 05, 2011 6:46 pm

This is a topic about what you don't like about Monster of Monsters that you would change.

P.S. Try to only change one thing at a time, k?

I would take out that piece of crap timer with no actual counter.

Make it decent platformer with some actual variety and creativity.

Why just one? I have a few...but I love the game as it is:

1 - Actual cities/buildings to smash in the Earth stage
2 - Fighting in a detailed stage with objects rather than the black screen for monster battles
3 - Fight against Megalon, Gargantuas and Titanosaurus
4 - Playable Anguirus and Rodan

Yeah all I ever saw on it was a screenshot of an Earth stage background and hex field.

I'd make Gigan and Ghidorah just a little less powerful.

I'd get rid of the flying ball of fire that can tear your monsters apart. But I'm happy with the game overall.

See, I thought that Mecha Godzilla was the most challenging. I adore that game! I would, as GODZ posted, liked a bit more variety in the scenery (though I do love what we get). A playable Anguirus and Rodan would have been awesome additions to the game.

Was the Godzilla model SUPPOSED to look like the heisei suit?

It was released in 1989 when there where no Heisei films released except for 1985. And the 54 suit is on the cover...

I think it does, besides being blue.

It'd fix the issues with the sprites fading during certain moves and maybe adding a few new monters.

I don't think it was based on any of the suits previously used.
