Here is a first look of the upcoming Tintin movie. I think it looks great so far, and you got Jackson and Spielberg working together as well.

^ Fail for judging it on pictures and not waiting for the trailer.

And thus hellspawn does another comic related topic. :'(

I'm really looking forward to this as I loved the series as a kid and for the fact it's got burg and Jack, I'm sold!

Dont assume, MG. Unlike you, Ive actually read/seen/experienced the stuff I say I have. And Tintin is not new. It was a freakin' comic strip.

I read a couple of these a few years back and really liked them. I'll bet I'll enjoy the film, too.

He has two movies coming out next, to me he has not made a great movie since 2005. Indy 4 was fun but not a great movie critcaly speaking.

Shit stained comics? Uhh.... what other comic book film has he done other then Men in black? :\

And once again, really? Just judging on a few pictures it automatically sucks.

It's doing better than The Dark Knight Rises, we know that's gonna suck because of the title alone!

In other words, he went from awesome animatronic dinosaurs to a comic series that I found terribly boring. I don't need to judge the pictures, because the comics didn't appeal to me in any way.

I know little about Tintin but you're coming across like a spoiled child who probably has never read the comic either and just wants more dinosaurs and eye candy. Wow, can't a director branch out and do different types of projects? Who knows if this is going to be good. It probably won't be. But your complaints seem directed less at the upcoming movie and more at the source material. So it doesn't appeal to you. Does that make it awful? Seriously, how old are you?

TK is a board of 13 to 19 year old movie snob wannabes. Most dont recognize good films from bad films. Nor can they see a film as a good film when their own personal tastes dont agree with it

They're kiddie comics. I know that much. Besides, my teacher read them to us in Kindergarten. And dinosaurs are awesome. :(
Wow, can't a director branch out and do different types of projects?

Yeah, but at his own risk. As of late, Spielberg hasn't done anything noteworthy, aside from his elusive work in the Transformers reboots and his work in Paranormal Activity.
Who knows if this is going to be good. It probably won't be.

Won't disagree, there. -_-
But your complaints seem directed less at the upcoming movie and more at the source material.

Because the comics were forced down my throat at a young age like bad-tasting medicine.
So it doesn't appeal to you. Does that make it awful?

In my eyes, yes. Idk if the movie will suck. However, I don't think I'll try to prove myself wrong by watching it, either.
Seriously, how old are you?

I'm 3.

[Actually, I'm 19...]

Man... I hope the trailer comes out soon but other then that I'm REALLY dying to hear what John Williams' music will sound like.

I was bashing the wrong series. I got this confused with the Richie Rich series. :x
