^ That'll most likely be true, but however, I like to pre-order my figures all together in one spree from one retailer in advance to save up time and funds. It's seemingly not possible with these - much like with the newer ULTRA-ACT's...

I agree; these are widely available, sold in toy store goods; they shouldn't be too hard to hunt down.

When last I checked, they were up for pre-order on Hobby Link Japan (under the name "Spark Dolls").

Even though HLJ doesn't have them in stock yet, I just preordered much of Wave 1 from them. They don't have Gomora, Baltan, nor Zetton unfortunately. So I ordered them through Amiami. However, they're on back-order with them so it may be a while till I actually get them. Hopefully not, but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

I may be a bit late with that, but I just realized that 2013 marks both the 30th anniversary of BANDAIs' 6" Ultraman vinyl figures and Tsuburaya Pro's 50th anniversary. That's probably the reason why BANDAI decided to say goodbye to the ever famous 6" figures right now to start over again with something new...

Did anybody order the Ginga Spark thing to go with these figures?

It sounds kind of cool, honestly. I don't know if the gimmick justifies the price, but it's still pretty awesome.

"This is Ultraman Ginga's special "henshin" item! And you can use it with any of the new Spark Doll Ultra Heroes and Spark Doll Ultra Monsters figures*! Just touch the "Live Sign" on the foot of the figure to the "Spark Reader" on the Ultra Spark, and hear the henshin sounds of the Ultra heroes and the roars of the Ultra monsters! Super fun!"

Might have to order one...
