I don't believe my complaint was about scale at all. It was about the general size. Which is f****** small. I have a feeling that Ultimate Monsters Black King is larger than this new one.

(Ultimate Monsters Black King is a really cool figure.)

I doubt that scaling will be an issue here, regarding sales; as Legion pointed out, the vast majority of figure lines don't really pay much attention to scale. In fact, the only lines I can think of that actually strive to be in scale are the Ultra-Acts and Monsterarts, and even in those lines that is at times questionable.

I think it will do fine with its intended demographic; Bandai has successfully marketed vinyl Ultraman figures to kids for years

Honestly, I don't see much of a difference in detail. Looks great!

Certain details are simplified (such as the patterns and folds on Eleking), but they do look pretty good, and appear to be just as colourful as the 6 inch figures.

Thanks for posting those pics Mr. X (and MaxRebo320).

^ The above comparison pics don't show the actual June releases. This are the test-wave figures from April. hey were sold in a very limited numbers and stores in west Japan only. Also the tags look different than the regular releases' tags will. It is yet unknown, if the paint applications on the coming releases will be 100% identic to these test figures. Available test figures were Ultraman, Seven, Mebius, Zero, Belial, Emperor Seijin, Baltan, Gomora and Eleking.

So would the test wave figures be pretty rare down the road? And possibly valuable? :huge:

I was also wondering that, I plan on using the EMS shipping if it isn't too, too expensive. I think it ships out in about 3-7 days IIRC.

Damn..part of me wants to know how expensive it would be to get EMS shipping with essentially all the Ultra Kaiju + Ginga from AmiAmi..my wallet on the other hand..

They seem reasonably sized, and I'm loving the new character choices on the way. If ever there was a line which could afford to have a wide range of Ultra-kaiju, this is it.

Just paid my first 9 figures of this line from Amiami. Shipping was a bit high but if I purchased so many at once... It just makes 7 bucks per toy wich is still low.

I hope they will release a lot of Ultraseven creatures.

^Nice. And BTW, through Amiami with SAL Registered, I still paid under MSRP for each figure shipping included. I really, really didn't need to spend that money right now, but it was a better deal than I'll likely find in the future. I just don't know where the Hell I'm going to put all these guys; thank God they're a little smaller...
