Yeah, they're probably not going to move forward with Showa until they see the sales numbers on G'64.

This is the first and only SHMA so far I'm getting two of, so I hope that suggests the sales will be good. That said, I wish they'd reveal an accessory for this set - I mean, anything would be nice. We've gotten something with every figure except Destoroyah (who's massive). Even Burning Godzilla had a couple tiny vehicles.

I'd cry rainbows of joy if they make one. That and a Kiryu..and a KiryuGoji...and a MireGoji..I mean..I could keep going.

I'll second that because I would like to see a quadruped Kaiju in the line and because Anguirus was IMO the best Kaiju in FW.

^ As widely reviled as FW is, I doubt anything, except Monster X, would find it's way into this line. And ALL the Gojis in Millennium look pretty much the same - except GMK.

I wish I could say I was surprised.

G2000 looks kind of similar to Kiryu Goji until you see them side by side. FW Goji looks dramatically different.

I would be really bored with a monster X figure. I would skip that one.

At a minimum, I'm hoping for a new atomic ray, which being Shodai should look something like an aerosol spray:

Yeah, I know that's not the 1964 suit. So sue me :)

Ok, here are a few thoughts that have crossed my mind about MA.
How long will each line of monsters run?
Will they keep making the same monsters until next year's movie comes out?
MA started out at the end of 2011, and they are still making the same figures?
Now the American market will be getting they toys directly, how will the market be affected?
Don't get me wrong, I think anytime Godzilla gets put into the spotlight its a good thing!
American collects are funny about this type of American marketing. (Bandai Creations vs. Bandai Japan is a good example).
Sure a lot fans will buy them, but will it be the same as if the we sold only in Japan?

Wha..?

Keep making the same ones? :eh:

And the "American market," except for two releases, has gotten every single figure. That's not something new.

Ya, how long will they keep running the same stuff?
Bandai is well know to stop producing a monster, to make another monster!
Marketing is still a general question?
Wholesale companies like Diamond could affect the market!

They do production runs.

And Diamond's been carrying Tamashii Nations products, through Bluefin, for quite some time now. It's not something new.

Ok, you still are avoiding the questions!
I knew all that you have said. Its not the same, it direct marketing!
Also, marketing thru Diamond directly opens new doors!
What's your opinion on the marketing projections?
How far will the lines of monsters run?

Nono, not going after the questions, just what you're saying.

MA started out at the end of 2011, and they are still making the same figures?

They do production runs. The figures aren't always in production.

Now the American market will be getting they toys directly, how will the market be affected?

The market in question has always had access to the figures since they've been available from the start on Amazon, at local comic shops through Diamond, and various stores, like ToyFreakz, that are supplied by Bluefin.

Yeah, Diamond has been distributing them through the Previews catalog since MechaGodzilla was released, if I remember right. These figures have gotten a wider distribution in America than any Godzilla figures since '98.
