It'd be 758,800 copies if I didn't have to buy it in the same box as Gigan and Hedorah. >.<

Anyways, I'm not sure what to think of this Blu-Ray. It's nice to see someone re-release the Gamera trilogy on DVD...even if it is just the first two movies. The usage of screenshots of entirely different Gamera movies worries me, though.

Now, if only someone could pick up the Daimajin and the Yokai Monsters films from ADV. Shout! Factory anyone?

Nice art for the back. That's all I can say. Now let's just wait for a review...

Yeah, as far as the cover(s) and the specs go, it looks promising enough. I only wish it could be an all-region BD.

They totally swiped the description on the back from Wikipedia. And what's up with Gamera 3?

From what I've read the picture is pretty good on this as far as special features go it only has trailers for both films.

Over at MZ someone contacted Mills Creek and they said they do indeed have G3.

It's Hedorah done by a Japanese artist, but I can't recall where it came from.

Yeah, it's a nice little piece of art, eh?

I currently gained a copy of the film finaly and well, the 1971 G film easily makes my top 10 Goji films and makes No. 10 on my fave kaiju films of all time. Great, great film. But back to Gamera...

Not for first time. WTF. I have seen it almost every time that it came on Syfy channel since 2002. I just now got around to getting a copy though. Really. Think I would not have seen this film?

Wow, I registered for this message board JUST so I could comment on how cool that Hedorah painting was. Granted, I've lurked here for years, but never felt the urge to comment. But I loves me some Hedorah, in fact it's probably my favorite Kaiju movie of all time. that's right, favorite kaiju film, not just favorite Godzilla film.

Anyway, thanks for sharing it, g2kmaster!

To stay on topic, I have the Gamera Blu-Ray pre-ordered from Amazon [along with Demeking, yay Super Saver Shipping!], and they still haven't shipped mine yet :( Best Buy now lists the release date as 10/19. What? Pushed back a week? Did anyone receive theirs yet?

I'm really excited about this release; even with no extras, the movies themselves rock, and $11.99 is hard to say no to, especially if those HD transfers look as nice as I imagine. Plus, just having the first film in anamorphic makes it extra tasty for me.

I want it NOW! :D

Garada when's your copy from Amazon scheduled to ship? The reason i ask is because I'm tempted to order it but don't feel like waiting forever to get it.

I could check my local Barnes and Noble but they list the date as the 12th.

From what I've heard from MZ from people who've seen posts about it the films look fantastic. So maybe I was wrong about this release.

No offense Evan, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Anyways, I will disrupt this thread no further.

I hope you get it soon then, lucky guy! Amazon's site currently states "Usually ships within 2 to 5 weeks"... I wonder if they ran out of stock?! Please let us know when you get yours, you may be the first one here to get it!

GVAMP: In theory, mine should have already shipped... both items in my order [the Gamera Blu-Ray and Demeking] released the same day. Demeking is currently listed as 'In Stock' [with only 5 copies left], but Gamera... hmm. Frustrating! Hope I get them both soon!

They didn't give you a shipping estimate?

I guess this weekend when I go to town I'll check and see if it's at my B&N if not then I'll order it from Amazon.
