I actually agree with you there. Some fans act like a game is something necessary in order to keep the fandom alive, when movies are much more important.

Doesn't matter. It's still the public image of Godzilla. If the game is REALLY good, the franchise gets more respect.

People don't really pay much attention to licensed games anymore from what I've seen.

G54 is a G90s Clone.
GFW Gigan is a Gigan Clone.
MG74 is an MG93 clone.

they are different monsters... the moveset is the same yes... but they are seperate selectable monsters... you can choose Godzilla 90s, and you can choose 54... they are different.

They're different characters only in the technical sense though. G90s and G54 do play exactly alike, and in a fighting game, it's just unacceptable. There's really no fun in fighting the exact same opponent. The only times I use duplicates are for movie battles, or in the case of the Godzillas and MechaGs, Battle of the Eras.

Yet they still share most basic punches down to the exact animations, and they also share the same eyebeams and basic movement aside some speed differences.

I would, but what would the point be. I'd get about three pages worth of people saying they didn't notice a thing lol because that's how TK works. Nine out of ten active members here are douchebags. Let's go back to the basics, Ryu and Ken in Street Fighter pretty much have the same moves, only small details make variations in them, like Ken's Uppercut is surrounded by Fire and that's pretty much it, visually at least. However, their stats are different, that alone makes a big difference in the how they do in matches, small modifications in speed or an attack or 2 can make different possibilities for different opponents, which means that those 3 different moves and different stats for the MechaGodzillas should do enough to warrant them different spots.

They could have done more of course but they sure are different characters with the little differences they have.

I like Krystalak. He's not in my top 10 but I think he's somewhat cool and he's my best main.
