I doubt their will be a unrated DVD. More like a special edtion with some extar stuff added into the movie, I doubt it will be dark enough to get a unrated cut.

You have to have sex, gore, lots of violence, drugs, nudity or smoking(i think) to get a R rating.

Or just a few F words.

Well damn, man. :(

PG-13. PG would make it look like a kid movie (Rise of the Silver Surfer) and R is just silly.

Hey, if it gets you to stop making sexual allusions like you have been all week, it works. Just ribbing you, dude.

Again, like I said earlier, PG-13. I'm glad Godzilla has been left alone(mostly) when it comes to sex and nudity. They just don't FIT when it comes to the series.

We're talking about the rating of a film that hasn't been shot yet. Pointless, isn' it?

Sexual illusions?? :P

Discussing the rating is no geekier than what monsters are gonna be in it. This is a forum. We talk about junk like that.

Why is everybody questioning the logic of this topic when quite a lot of the topics in this section are just as pointless?

But really, PG-13 sounds reasonable. An R rating would be...odd. Cloverfield had good reasons to be given such a rating. Gore in a Godzilla movie? Not going to work...

I voted PG-13, but I don't care in all honesty as long as they make it entertaining.

Just because the movie was bad to you doesn't mean the blasted RATING is bad! For pete's sake, do you now hate violence and Godzilla because it was associated with GFW?

-_- -_- -_-

Do you really think JVM's serious? Look at the guy's signature, for Obama's sake.

On topic, an R rating would probably be shot down instantly by Toho...it just doesn't feel right. Not everything needs T&A or HARDCORE GORE!111!!!

I'm half-serious. The GFW reference was more of a joke, but I do still feel it should be R-rated. I don't expect it though.

I voted an R - Rating, only on the grounds that IF it may be necessary, only for violence and intense action/violence, moderate use of mild language, some sort of humor, and possibly scary images if it would work in the context of the plot and allow the proper emphasis to make a scene interesting and putting the audience on the edge of their seats.

As a guy, I like a good looking woman, but I agree that Godzilla is NOT a series of fan service/porn/sex/etc.

Nudity has made its incursions in the series, but they were all out of place and really shouldn't have been there.

At all.

Hopefully there won't be any stupid sex/masturbation/porn cracks like Michael Bay's mediocre Transformers movies.

"Hey Anguirus, why are you longer than me?"

"I think it's because I walk on four legs, not two, dickhole."

"...I wasn't talking about body length."

Giant monsters can't really make dick jokes.

I voted PG-13, it's perfect for this kind of movie. Godzilla movies are wide range, for everyone.

The only possible way I could see this being rated R is if Gigan is Godzilla's opponent and they go WAY overboard on his Ax Crazyness...which admitingly wouldn't be out of question for Gigan.

PG-13. Enough to get some good, solid monster violence in, but not so much that parents won't take their children to it.
