I don't think we will get another game until 2012 since they will likely make a Godzilla game to cash in on the LP movie. I hope they give the rights of Godzilla to Dimps.

That is even worse than the Godzilla games. I really do hope that Atari and Pipeworks can no longer make a Godzilla game, because I think that the big G deserves better.

Let me be the first say that no words can describe how funny that is, so this laughing emoticon puts it better then I can say it.

That's about the caliber of game that Pipeworks deserves to work on. They'll still screw it up. Pajamas will now be made of potato instead of fabric because someone thought that'd be better. Also, fat girls will somehow be cool and invited to the party.

Godzilla's films don't exactly have universal awareness. Sure he has, but people remember the character, not the movies.

Never said we couldn't get an awesome game, but it'd be pretty damn tough to be find an experienced rich game developer who's motivated for Godzilla.

That's why I said SOMEHOW.

And how do you know they can't fit Godzilla's style, their games are as varied as can be, they have Monster Hunter and Lost Planet so they could make giant creatures look awesome, and they rarely miss on the gameplay, they have many fighting games under their belt, not all play like SF, there's slower paced games that don't rely on heavy combos and flashy stuff, so I know they would get it right but It's pretty impossible, sure they made a Disney's Aladdin platformer and it rocks, they took part in some Zelda games for some reason, but Godzilla is actually something harder to achieve.

All I'm saying is that, if they did a game, it would most likely rock.

I believe that Pipe works made the Rampage games as well.

If you talking about the Rampage games from the 90's (Which are awesome IMO) then they had nothing to do with them. They made Total Destruction years later.

None of their games fit Godzilla's style at all. That's irrelevant though.

Pipeworks had no interest in Godzilla, according to Chris, it was generally a business only venture.
