I'm a big fan of Cryptozoology, and I find it cool to see what exist in our world. I don't think any Dinosaurs such as Mokele-mbembe and Burrunjor are living today but there are some bit of evidence of some living dinos, and I'm actually very intrigued by it.

When you make a claim provide reference. What evidence? Besides aves, of course.

I'm not going out to find them, but some are probably out there.

I hope this doesn't apply to other forums... -_-

But yeah, I understand. Clutter.

Here's a handful of monsters I believe exist:

- Bigfoot
- Ropen
- Kongamoto
- Mothman
- Emela-N'touka
- "New" Nessie (corpse resembling a Plesiosaur that was caught and foolishly dumped back into the Pacific Ocean)
- Flatwoods Monster
- Owlman
- Dover Demon
- Lake Champlain Monster
- Chesapeake Bay Monster

There have been foot prints, and roar recording of Burrunjor before. And they found trees that been knock over, and pull out of the ground over night. I don't think any T-Rex or dinosaurs are living today, but who knows what exist in our world.

I think that was a shark IIRC?

I actually despise talkback threads.

And New Nessie? They kept tissue from it...It was a shark. Basking, I think. I could be wrong but it was proven to be a shark.

Zuiyo Maru was proven to be a bignose shark from a DNA testing. I remember reading a link of a old news paper that was on the Wikipedia.

I love cryptozoology. Most cryptids probably aren't real, but the subject is still interesting nevertheless. I firmly believe that while there might not be unknown hominids, marine reptiles, or whatever out there, but there are probably real creatures- known or not and whether they're still around or not- that inspire cryptid.

I find the Mapinguari interesting, I think it might be a new type of bear then a sloth.

I was a huge cryptid junkie back in my junior high days, Since then I've realized the traditional cryptids do not exist.

Not to mention Basking Sharks decay in a weird way. Makes them look like plesiosaur corpses, with the elongated nose looking like a head/neck. And the eyes being situated so close to the nose...

I used to be a big fan of cryptids and the legends and mysteries surrounding them.
But I kind of fell out of interest once I ran up against the inevitable: the probability that my favorite cryptid - the Loch Ness Monster - didn't exist. That said I still do believe in the possibility of sea monsters - sea serpents and all that.

But it's Nessie who always interested me the most. And even with the evidence against her, a part of me still holds out hope...

I still think Nessie will be found one day, some animals where once cryptids but no long are like the Kraken for example. What do you think the conpect of living Dinosaurs since there have been reports for over 50 years that Dinosaurs are still living today in Africa and Southeast Asia?

Moa and Thylacine did exist at one point, there's a much smaller leap of faith in believing in the continued existence of an animal that died out a few hundred years ago than in, say, a giant ape living isolated from other primate species.

The think the main issue with living dinos is that the Earth has change for millions of years after the Metor hit the Earth. And also if a T-Rex or Apatosaurus did surrive then we would have dinosaur fossils from the Cenozoic Era.

The odds of a single fossil of an isolated individual are astronomical.

What are you guys think of the Chupacabra? I think its a new type of Bat then a alien.

The odds of a single fossil of an isolated individual are astronomical.

That's one thing about living dinos is that how they can surrive for over millions of years but no fossils of them afterwards? I think the Burrunjor might be a Megalania. I'm not sure if a Megalania is strong enough to rip Trees out of the ground though?

None of them exist. Hence cryptozoology and not zoology.
