I remember when I was about 10, I exclaimed one morning, "It's Godzilla's birthday!", and fro some reason my mom actually bought a small little cake reading "Happy Birthday Godzilla", and we put a bunch of little figures on it! Happy birthday big guy!

I once went to a Mexican restruant with a Godzilla toy, and the waiters got around and sang happy birthday to it. It was one of the best nights of my life.
Before it can be filmed, drawn, acted or programed, it must be written.

Ah, I knew there would be. Thanks for that - fine with this thread being demolished. We can continue discussion over there.

Great to hear all of these stories, though! Godzilla was an immense part of my childhood, and every single toy store in my area was scoured for Trendmasters toys on a weekly basis. And any place that carried VHS tapes was combed for different releases of Godzilla films.

Did everyone vote for their favorite incarnation of the Big G? We're up to over 50 votes, lets get some real results!

Just threw in a vote for ShodaiGoji. Nice to see my beloved KingGoji doing so well, too.

Happy birthday, Mr. G. May you entertain us and future generations for years to come.
