And for the record, I shot an e-mail to Mill Creek 3 days ago... no reply yet... I am still calling boot. And really, looking at their "Red Barron" and "Iron King" Dvds, they look like they could have just scanned the BCI/Eclipse release's covers and DVD designs and just re-released them for $$$. I call bootleg all around.

I just bought their Ultraman set and I have to disagree with you. Their releases are not boots. While I'm sure there's a slight quality drop due to compression of 39 episodes onto 4 discs (unlike BCI's 6 discs), they've redesigned the menus and presented a nice, affordable package. (I have the first volume of the BCI version, so I can do a direct comparison). The only gripe I've come across is the way the discs are stored - it makes Sony's Icons set look intelligent. Basically, instead of the usual snap-in-place holder that DVDs come in, you've got 4 PAPER slip cases that fit into a little box inside the main housing. It's potentially easy to lose.
I should mention that the main reason I caved and bought the set is because it's selling on Amazon for a whopping $9. Worth it.
EDIT: I realize this post may seem wildly off topic and merely a review for the set, but it's simply to stop these "Mill Creek = bootleg" rumors.

If you want to get technical then yeah the Ultraman DVDs are boots because they wheren't licensed by Tsuburaya who created the show.
Yes these BDs are legit however any one expecting a quality copy that's a straight port of Japanese BDs is going to sadly be mistaken based on the price and the fact that two movies on one disc.
