Wisdom Teeth...

hey guys... im going to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth out tomorrow... bleh.

i just thought id ask you guys that had it done...

how was it?
Does it hurt afterwards?

Im not afraid... ive had worse surgery before... im just curious.

I have one wisdom tooth that just popped in one day. It's been a couple of years and no other ones have grown yet.

I had all 4 plucked in one day. It's not that bad, but it kinda sucks at first. Mine were under the gums too.

It hurts a bit during the nights afterward. But most of it is easily dealt with the vicodin the dentist prescribes you. Damn, that stuff is good shit.

The vicodin didn't help that much with the pain for me.

Got all four of mine taken out like 7 years ago. I really had no noteworthy pain afterwards, but that's probably because I got them taken out before they were completely developed.

I have to get mine removed this year, I really don't see what the big deal with them is.

It's not too bad. Just make sure you get yourself some vicodin and you should be good to go. Certainly worked for me. Then again, I've had palate expansion surgery so I've definitely felt worse pain.

yea... ive had eye surgery before and it was painful... so this should be fine...

It's not too bad. The only actual pain might last a day, but it's not that severe. Make sure to have someone keep note of the things you say while under general anesthesia, if you're going that direction. Cuz I guarantee you will say some hilarious shit.

I was lucky enough that that three of them were pointing where teeth should be so really I only felt pain from the 4th one. Best advice I can give is eat lukewarm soup on the first day. I know your going to feel so sick that just the thought of eating is going to make you feel sick but trust me once you have a full stomach the meds won't make you as sick.

Didn't happen to me. At least, that's what the surgeons said. Then again, they had a hard time trying to keep a straight face...

I told the nurse that I was gonna win the lottery and buy an arena football team. Then I pointed to a painting of a barn on the wall and told her that my team was gonna play in that barn. Then I told my dad that I probably shouldn't drive home. It was great.

I remember my experience, as soon as the needle went in my arm, I was out... I then awoke basically in an awkward daze. They told me I was ready to go, and I was like "But wait you didn't pull my teeth!" then my parents kept trying to convince me otherwise, I thought they were lying at the time. Yeah, you'll feel pretty funny for the first few hours.
That night, I actually couldn't talk much because of the pain, so I mainly communicated through sticky notes. And I sounded as if I had a lisp for about a week or so...

Don't worry to much, it'll hurt but it won't be for to long. But do be sure to eat something soft or liquid like soup or something.

Tonsils were worse for me because I got an infection. I couldn't eat and had to go to the hospital. I lost like 12 pounds.
